The Brunei Intellectual Property Office (BruIPO) is the national agency responsible for the registration of intellectual property rights in Brunei Darussalam. Established on 1 June 2013, BruIPO oversees the registration of patents, trademarks, industrial designs, and plant variety protection (PVP). It operates under the Ministry of Finance and Economy and is committed to restructuring the national IP administration to align with international standards. BruIPO plays a pivotal role in promoting innovation and creativity by ensuring the protection of intellectual property rights within the country.
