The Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO) is a special operating agency of Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada. CIPO is responsible for the administration of patents, trademarks, copyrights, industrial designs, and integrated circuit topographies in Canada. It delivers intellectual property (IP) services and educates Canadians on how to use IP more effectively.
