Industrial Property Protection / Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply is the authority that is responsible for preparing and implementing policies that ensure development in industrial property field, as it involves protection of human creativity and innovation in trademarks, and local and foreign patents in Jordan, as well as encourage commercial activities. Since it has been established, the Directorate has sought to enhance the protection level of different industrial property elements by joining the international conventions and amending legislations in line with them, as well as cooperating with international Intellectual Property Organizations, and Intellectual Property offices in Arabic and foreign countries.
