The State Agency of Intellectual Property and Innovation under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic (Kyrgyzpatent) is the national intellectual property office responsible for the management, development, and enforcement of intellectual property rights in Kyrgyzstan. It operates under the Cabinet of Ministers and is committed to promoting innovation and economic growth through the protection of intellectual property rights. Kyrgyzstan is a member of several international organizations and has signed numerous international agreements and conventions in the field of intellectual property protection, including the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT), Eurasian Patent Convention, Madrid System, and Paris Convention. The agency handles the registration of patents, trademarks, and industrial designs, ensuring that these rights are recognized and enforced according to Kyrgyzstani law.
