The Office of the Registrar General within the Rwanda Development Board (RDB) is the competent administration for industrial property and copyright matters in Rwanda. It is responsible for the registration and management of intellectual property rights, including patents, trademarks, and industrial designs. The office ensures that creators and businesses in Rwanda can secure and enforce their intellectual property rights in accordance with applicable laws and international agreements. The head of the office is Registrar General: Mr. Richard Kayibanda, and the Head of IP Office Division: Mr. Blaise M. Ruhima.
