The Swaziland Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) is responsible for the protection and administration of intellectual property rights in Eswatini (formerly known as Swaziland). SIPO manages the registration and management of trademarks, patents, and industrial designs, ensuring that the rights of inventors, creators, and businesses are safeguarded in accordance with both national and international intellectual property laws. As a member of the African Regional Intellectual Property Organization (ARIPO), Eswatini's intellectual property rights are also governed by the agreements and protocols established by ARIPO. SIPO plays a crucial role in fostering innovation and creativity within the country by providing a legal framework for the protection of intellectual property rights.
