Department of Intellectual Property is under the supervision of Ministry of Commerce. Some of its authority and administration affairs which involved legal proceedings with regard to trademark and patent laws were transferred from Department of Commercial Registration, Ministry of Commerce. Likewise, some of the authority and administration affairs of Fine Art Department which involved operations under the copyright law were transferred to Department of Intellectual Property, Ministry of Commerce.
